Open for Court Security Officer (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)

Ensure order and security within the Courtroom to provide for the efficient and secure operation of a high-volume courtroom.

• Proficiency in firearms, physical control tactics, and de-escalation techniques.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in multicultural, diverse environment.
• Pass a medical physical and psychological exam as condition of employment.
• Attend a residential training program of 5-14 weeks. Depending on the school, may need to pass Illinois P.O.W.E.R. test.

Monday – Friday, Day Shift with some overtime.
