SALARY RANGE: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Operates a single, tandem, or multi-axle truck for delivery and/or pickup of agronomy, energy, or turf products, following specified schedules to/from company or customer locations to support profitable growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates all assigned vehicles, including single, tandem, or multi-axle configurations, forklifts, etc., in accordance with safety standards and proper operation techniques.
• Performs daily safety checks of vehicles and equipment, including pre-trip inspections and maintenance, ensuring a professional appearance.
• Loads and unloads materials safely, ensuring loads are balanced and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Ensures timely deliveries and pickups, providing excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Completes all documentation accurately, including bill of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and submits them timely.
• Maintains accurate logs and records of cargo and activities daily.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintains company equipment and adheres to policies, including uniform and professional image standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience operating tractor-trailers or similar equipment, meeting safety standards.
• Possesses and maintains a valid CDL with endorsements, a medical card, and a clean driving record.
• Willing to work extended hours and on-call as needed.
• Willing to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and permits.
• Able to work in various weather conditions, including dust, fumes, chemicals, and at heights, lifting 51-70 lbs.
