Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell, you will support production processes and drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency and quality. You will implement manufacturing solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work on-site in Urbana, OH.
Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in data collection and analysis to identify areas for process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Entry-level experience or internships in manufacturing engineering or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools and software such as CAD, data analysis tools, and process documentation.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced degree in engineering (preferably mechanical or industrial).
- Experience or internships in aerospace manufacturing environments.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and eagerness to learn. - Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
