Reports to: Senior HR Manager – Johnson Welded Products
Pay: Hourly, based on experience

Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations at our Urbana, Ohio manufacturing facility
. This hourly, on-site role supports one plant and works closely with the Senior HR Manager.
The ideal candidate will assist with recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions, onboarding, HR administration, and employee support. A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help associates are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Onboarding- Assist with full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles at the Urbana facility
- Screen applicants, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communications
- Prepare new hire paperwork and coordinate onboarding and orientation
- Prepare and process employee documentation accurately and timely
- Maintain confidential electronic and physical employee files
- Support attendance tracking and timekeeping processes
- Assist with HRIS data entry and reporting (Paylocity experience a plus)
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist with employee engagement activities and recognition efforts
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and other assigned initiatives
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Recruiting experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems a plus
- Working knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certifications are a plus but not required
- This is an hourly, non-exempt position
- This role supports one manufacturing facility (Urbana, Ohio)
