We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to support our Urbana, OH location.

• Perform diagnostic work on equipment to verify needed repairs per estimate, notifying the service manager if initial diagnosis is inaccurate.
• Apply knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in repairing CCE/Light Construction Equipment.
• Operate equipment used in service shops (diagnostic equipment, forklifts, hydraulic lifts, etc.).
• Complete assigned work according to estimates and schedules, communicating any issues that may cause deviations.
• Keep accurate time records for work performed.
• Recommend additional service work to maximize machine productivity, reduce downtime, and add value for customers.
• Provide professional advice to customers when required.
• Ensure requested parts are billed and unused parts are returned promptly.
• Submit work order details to the Service Manager immediately after completing each segment.
• Help maintain company assets as required.
• Attend training and KEI events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Technical degree in Agricultural or Construction Mechanics preferred but not required.
• 2-4 years of relevant technician experience.
• Basic knowledge of product lines, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use our computer system (Intelli Dealer).
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
