Job Description
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing engineering team, focusing on supporting production processes and driving improvements in manufacturing efficiency and quality. You will work on implementing manufacturing solutions and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and will work out of our Urbana, OH location on an on‑site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the manufacturing operations by supporting process improvements and ensuring product quality, contributing to the overall productivity and success of our Aero business unit.
Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in data collection and analysis to identify areas for process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Entry‑level experience or internships in manufacturing engineering or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools and software such as CAD, data analysis tools, and process documentation.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience or internships in aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and eagerness to learn.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
