3rd Shift Material Handler — full-time, on-site, Urbana, OH.
Schedule:
11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Starting rate $23.50 including shift differential.

The role…
You will provide a full range of material handling support to 3rd Shift at our Urbana, OH facility. Duties include but are not limited to: reviewing and verifying inbound goods and raw materials; delivering raw materials to production, packing and sorting materials; operating a variety of fork trucks; utilizing safe operating procedures; and collaborating with team members throughout the facility.
Overtime:
Required overtime every 3rd weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Additional overtime may be required depending volunteer opportunities and cross training opportunities.
- Deliver materials to specified departments.
- Ensure order accuracy in SAP
- Handle inventory carefully, follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) procedures
- Assist with cycle counts and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and supplies through various control systems
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies, damages, shortages, or nonconformances with specifications
- Assist other departments as needed
- Operate the paper compactor, bailers (plastic/paper), variety of lifts, and core cutter
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; comply with 5S standards and company safety regulations
- Support Recycling and Packing duties
- Note:
Other duties may be required
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Ability to operate a variety of lifts (forklift, clamp truck, stand-up), stretch wrap machinery, manual and/or electric hand jack, strapping equipment, bailers/compactor, and core cutter
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper and micrometer
- Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 80 lbs and work standing for 8 to 12 hours in a non-climate controlled environment
- Ability to train others and willingness to cross train
- Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment
