This role combines technical welding expertise, manufacturing training, safety instruction, and continuous improvement leadership. It is a hands‑on position supporting production operations across multiple shifts while developing workforce capabilities.
Core Responsibilities Design and deliver welding training programs for:- MIG
- TIG
- Stainless steel welding
- Emerging welding technologies
- Forklift operations
- Crane operations
- Manufacturing safety programs
- Lead and support LEAN / continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate weld quality issues and support root‑cause analysis efforts.
- Implement corrective actions and on‑the‑job training (OJT) to improve quality and consistency.

Experience:
- Associate's degree in Welding Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Education, Human Resources Development, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Minimum 5-7 years of welding industry experience, including training
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with basic welding tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Stand at the weld station throughout the work shift.
- Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently during the shift.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25–40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing assignments and multitask effectively.

- Welding hood and protective clothing
- Manufacturing and welding areas with exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and noise.
