Manage all aspects of the maintenance department and engineering, including managing maintenance costs, contractor‑performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations and improvements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- 1. Build, lead, and train a cohesive team for maintenance and engineering employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
- 2. Oversee all corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.
- 3. Oversee the design, planning, and execution of capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
- 4. Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput.
- 5. Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions to drive metric improvements.
- 6. Maintain spend forecast and approve monthly R&M spend for the facility.
- 7. Organize, lead, and track capital projects.
- 8. Partner with production and quality teams to introduce new processes, improve existing equipment, and support operational excellence.
- 9. Maintain facility standards.
- 10. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree – Technical Management or Plastics Engineering RJG Training Certifications – Systematic Level Desired:
Master’s Degree
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment
Experience in injection molding, tooling management, and facility maintenance #ORBIS #LI-MR1
