3rd Shift Entry-Level Manufacturing Operator
Full-time, on-site, 11pm to 7am, Starting Rate $21.00 , in Urbana, OH

The role…You will provide a full range of manufacturing support within the Duct Strip area at our Urbana, OH facility. Duties include but are not limited to: machine set-up and operation, troubleshooting and adjusting equipment, completing quality and safety inspections, and collaborating with team members throughout the facility.
Overtime:
May be required depending on machine / area, volunteer opportunities, cross training opportunities.
- Set up machine(s) per customer/order specification (make-to-order products)
- Troubleshoot and adjust machine controls and components
- Read and apply job specifications
- Communicate with other departments to request raw materials and supplies to eliminate downtime
- Document production data and complete required quality and safety inspections
- Monitor machine operation to detect and correct malfunctions
- Maintain inventory control, including SAP transactions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and complete routine equipment maintenance
- Note:
Other duties may be required
- High School Diploma or GED required, manufacturing experience preferred
- Comprehend and apply basic reading, arithmetic and geometry (testing required)
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper and micrometer (testing required)
- Physical requirements – lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing between 50 - 100 lbs, depending on machine and work in a non climate controlled environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment
- Ability to train others and willingness to cross train
