Billing Processor

We are hiring a Billing Processor to support accounting and billing operations for a leading organization. This is a 6-month contract role offering hands-on experience in payment application, disbursements, and financial reporting. The position is primarily onsite, with flexibility after the initial training period.

• Perform billing, disbursements, and payment application activities with a high level of accuracy
• Research and resolve check and payment discrepancies
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain accounting reports, statements, and records
• Conduct variance and trend analysis for key accounts and reports
• Maintain and analyze accounts and/or client records to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Respond professionally to internal and external email communications
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks across systems and workflows
• Support documentation and improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and processes
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable accounting and regulatory standards

• Associate's degree
• 13 years of relevant experience
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Prior experience in finance or accounting
• Experience working with accounting or processing systems
• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset
