Financial Data Analyst

DSI Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Financial Data Analyst to work onsite in Urbandale, IA. The position is full‑time (7:30 AM – 4 PM, Monday‑Friday) and reports to the Urbandale, Iowa office.

The role involves collaborating with Management, Sales, Accounting, and Credit teams, as well as dealer partners. Key activities include executing daily and weekly operational tasks, supporting various business functions, responding to ad‑hoc data requests, and delivering excellent customer service to facilitate decision‑making and operational efficiency.

• Process dealer inquiries, interpret and investigate data using SQL across multiple vendor tables, and resolve dealer disputes promptly.
• Execute data collection, reporting, dealer payments, and vendor receivable reconciliations across multiple DSI programs.
• Analyze vendor data and ensure changes are applied to current vendor payment processes.
• Identify high‑level data issues from vendors and collaborate with Sales at all levels.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reporting of financial results by gathering data from various accounting applications and formatting it for the intended audience.
• Provide administrative support to other DSI departments as needed.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

• BA/BS with 2+ years of experience in IT, finance, accounting, or analytics, or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel with at least 1 year working with large data sets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence effectively across departments.
• Drive to understand core issues and determination to uncover solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Extremely detail‑oriented and highly organized.
• Experience with MS SQL, MS SQL Reporting Services, MS Visual Basic, Domo, a plus.
• Knowledge or experience with accounting or finance is a plus.
