We are seeking a talented individual to join our Revenue & Compliance team at Marsh
. This role will be based in Urbandale and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of six days per month in the office.
- Audit revenue documentation and reconcile client records to ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX, SSAE
16, tax regulations, and US/local GAAP. - Collaborate with internal business partners to acquire/update missing or inaccurate documentation to complete audit.
- Prepare or analyze accounting reports and consolidated statements to reconcile revenue for client records, presenting findings to client teams and senior managers as needed.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of internal accounting policies and onshore/offshore team transitions; may include process improvements for revenue review and invoicing functions.
- Review and guide the work of junior accountants and offshore staff.
- Provide functional advice and training to colleagues and client teams as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field; an Associate's degree with relevant experience is also considered.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly for reconciliations and compliance reviews.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work on time in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Oracle experience.
