Accounting Assistant

Service Master Green is a values-driven, growing, locally owned Service Master franchise, with hundreds of employees offering commercial janitorial and carpet cleaning services throughout the Des Moines Metro area. We currently are accepting résumés for the part time position of Accounting Assistant.

Job responsibilities include assisting in all areas of the Accounting Department, including –Customer invoicing and billing, including some follow-up collection calls

Manage general ledger, including reconciling accounts and monthly adjustments

Processing transactions related to Service Master franchise fees Other duties as assigned

Requirements include:

High level of competency using Quick Books Desktop Pro and Excel Strong organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Able to multitask with limited supervision

Communicate effectively, professionally, and accurately in verbal and written English Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position

Schedule:

20 hours/week, Monday – Friday This franchise is independently owned and operated by a Service Master Clean franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee.
