Customer Service Rep, Bilingual, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Homemakers Furniture is looking to add a Finance Cashier to our Front Office team. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, dedication to customer satisfaction, and proven cash handling experience.
Schedule will include both weekend days in the regular work week with two consecutive days off.
Pay is $18 per hour to start and there are opportunities for advancement within the department.
Job DutiesThe Finance Cashier is an essential part of the front office team and as part of the exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include connecting with the customer, establishing rapport and learning their needs to maintain superior customer experience as well as being a part of the retail area that fosters a team environment including educating on product knowledge, sales transactions and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Creates positive customer experiences in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills with customers and fellow Finance Team members
- Prioritizes various forms of customer interactions and job duties
- Explains the “why” behind company financing and transaction policies to customers
- Complies with cash handling regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensures customer lines flow efficiently and approaches customers to assist them
- Utilizes communication with different departments and resources to answer a wide variety of customer inquiries
- Answers phone calls and responds to voicemails in a timely manner
- Enthusiastically assists different departments with outbound calling initiatives for the betterment of the overall customer

- High School or GED
- Cashiering, cash handling, or transactional experience required
- Phone or Call Center experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service & communication skills in person, over the phone & via email
- Ability to focus in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task as necessary
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- 10 key & typing skills
- Accuracy to detail
- Standing for long periods of time
- Will work indoors
- Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings and noisy work environment
