Operations Coordinator

Responsible for customer service support of financial advisors through processing of new account applications, account changes, and service requests. This role responds to inquiries concerning all products offered and assists advisors with regulatory obligations.

Essential Job Functions
  • Process new account applications and client requests daily and within designated time frames.
  • Communicate with Financial Advisors and/or clients via phone and/or email to resolve incomplete or “bad order” applications and requests and find solutions to problems.
  • Consult with appropriate leaders/management as needed to manage difficult situations or exceptions.
  • Accurately enter client personal and suitability information into the Firm’s Books and Records system and facilitate required regulatory mailing obligations.
  • Provide customer service to Financial Advisors and clients through written correspondence, email, phone, internet, and fax.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Handle customer interactions with confidence and tact.
Experience and Education
  • Financial industry experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least one year of work directly with a broker‑dealer, RIA, or insurance.
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 licensing preferred but not required.
  • Must become a non‑registered fingerprint person of Brokers Financial.
