• Target candidate may be required to operate and maintain a vacuum excavation truck and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Possess the ability to designate/locate a variety of underground utilities, create legible field sketches, perform basic mathematics and field measurements, document daily activities, and perform records research.
• This position is similar to a utility locator or utility designator and requires a minimum of 2 years of utility locating or designating using many types of pipe and cable locating devices.
• Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is preferred.
• Understanding basic traffic control and the hazards associated with working in and around traffic and following safety precautions.
• Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Surveying, CADD, and vacuum excavation truck experience are a plus.
• Essential duties and responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to maintain required certifications.
• Pre‑employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based on position.
