We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate
- Accounting Operations to join our team in Urbandale, Iowa. This role involves performing critical cash application functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. • Review lockbox and apply cash to policies or invoices.
• Research and resolve issues related to cash applications.
• Ensure accuracy in payment applications, including apply-to dates and amounts.
• Follow up on missing or duplicate payments.
• Clear unapplied or unidentified cash.
• Apply fees and other payments in the internal system.
• Maintain a database of carriers, contacts, client names, and other identifying information for efficient commission applications.
• Work with Supervisory Principal and representatives for revenue reporting and investigating missing commissions.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues between systems.
• Prepare posting reconciliations between bank receipts and cash postings.
• Respond to audit requests (FINRA, SEC, D&T, AML, Internal).
• Assist in converting new businesses or acquisitions onto the company platform.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline preferred).
• 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Engaged and motivated attitude.

$27- $29/hr
