Data Scientist

This role is a Data Scientist contract position for 12 months, offering  58.00 -  60.00 per hour. You will work on machine learning projects focused on precision agriculture and intelligent farming equipment.

Location:

On‑site in Urbandale, IA 50322.

• Develop predictive models using high‑resolution machine and agronomic data.
• Deliver production‑ready machine learning approaches for precision agriculture data insights.
• Define and analyze Key Performance Indicators for customer success outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering teams to optimize data storage for analytics.

• Competency in developing production‑ready models using Python or similar languages.
• Proficiency in data‑access technologies like SQL, Spark, Databricks.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Kepler.gl.
• Familiarity with machine learning models including regression and supervised learning.

• Experience with geospatial data analysis and remote sensing.
• Knowledge of GIS tools and satellite imagery analysis.
• Proficiency in Computer Vision & Machine Learning (CVML).
• Familiarity with distributed datasets and various data structures.
