If you want to learn about all different types of technology, then this is the right job for you. Dymin seeks a driven eager-to‑learn Full‑Time Bench Technician to join our team. As a Bench Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain various technology devices, including desktops, laptops, gaming PCs, and other electronic equipment. Your technical expertise and customer service skills will ensure the smooth operation of our client's devices and provide them with exceptional support.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
* Bench Technical Work - 45%
- Working with other technicians to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or replace hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, etc.
- Working onsite in customers' homes/offices to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or replace hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops. Resolve software conflicts, viruses, and malware infections using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications based on client requirements.
- Assisting in repairs and learning different industry techniques.
* Customer Service - 30%
- Collaborate with customers to understand their technology needs and provide technical assistance and guidance.
- Follow‑up calls to customers on questions or status of tickets.
- Working the POS system and addressing people at the front counter.
Misc. Task - 25%
- Shredding hard drives
- Anything other than what is listed above to help push revenue in the Retail / ITAD Department.
- Handle shipping
- Process incoming electronic recycling
- Complete recycling pickups
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
- Experience working with computers, servers, and other electronic devices.
- Basic understanding of computer software installation and use.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite:
Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. - A passion for tinkering: working hands‑on to find solutions.
