Job Description:
Strategic and Tactical Leadership
The Vice President, Agency Distribution is a senior executive responsible for leading, architecting and scaling the Integrity Annuities (IA) Agency Distribution platform. This leader will recruit, develop, and optimize high-caliber independent agencies, driving premium growth and strategic expansion across the Integrity ecosystem. The Vice President will define and execute go‑to‑market strategies, strengthen carrier partnerships, and elevate IA’s value proposition as an enterprise infrastructure partner.
This is a transformative, builder role focused on platform growth—not a maintenance or regional wholesaling position.
- Defining and executing a multi‑year distribution growth strategy to expand Integrity Annuities’ (IA) market footprint
- Positioning IA as a value‑add, enterprise‑level partner in the annuities marketplace
- Aligning distribution strategies with broader Integrity Annuities objectives and growth targets
- Refining and articulating IA’s differentiated platform offering—including technology, operations, compliance, data, training, and carrier access—to elevate brand perception from “aggregation” to “enterprise distribution partner”
- Forging and strengthening executive‑level relationships with key carrier partners to drive product alignment, compensation structures, and strategic initiatives
- Serving as an executive ambassador at industry events, elevating IA’s profile and forging strategic external partnerships
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high‑caliber independent agencies aligned to IA’s enterprise support model
- Design and implement agency segmentation strategies for enterprise, growth, and emerging partners
- Drive adoption of IA’s infrastructure and centralized services to increase agency retention and wallet share
- Lead and mentor enterprise relationship managers, fostering a high‑performance, accountable culture
- Establish and monitor KPIs for premium growth, agency retention, expansion, and cross‑sell opportunities
- Partner with Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and Technology to ensure seamless delivery of platform capabilities and support for growth objectives
- Advocate for sales priorities in enterprise‑wide roadmap planning, ensuring recruiting commitments align with operational capacity
- Achieve year‑over‑year organic net premium growth
- Recruit a minimum of five new high‑quality agencies annually, each meeting defined size, profitability, and strategic fit criteria
- Maintain agency retention rate annually
- Increase cross‑platform adoption of technology tools and centralized services by X% year‑over‑year
- Deliver measurable EBITDA contribution from distribution growth, aligned with annual enterprise targets
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, marketing, or a related field
- 15+ years of leadership experience in annuity or life distribution
- Demonstrated success leading large independent agency or IMO distribution networks
- Proven track record in recruiting and scaling enterprise‑level agencies
- Established, credible relationships with key carrier partners
- Experience navigating multi‑entity, complex environments preferred
- Strong financial acumen; deep knowledge of spread economics and EIATDA drivers
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
- Ability to travel as needed for strategic relationship development and industry representation
- Strategic thinker with a vision for building distribution as critical enterprise infrastructure
- Builder and recruiter of elite sales and agency talent
- Resilient and comfortable navigating ambiguity and organizational transformation
- Disciplined, data‑driven, and results‑oriented
- High executive presence with carriers, partners, and large agencies
- Collaborative, with an alignment mindset across the Integrity ecosystem
