Description
Do you like working with your hands, building things, and feeling the satisfaction of a job well done? If so, then maybe our Furniture Prep position is for you! This Quality Control job focuses on assembling all the furniture that will be delivered the following day by our In-Home delivery team.
The schedule is Monday - Friday from 7 am - 3:30 pm or when the work is done.
The pay is $19 per hour to start. We also a comprehensive benefit package including three weeks of PTO in your first year and a fantastic employee discount on furniture!
Position Summary:In this warehouse role, you will work on a team that is responsible for unpacking and assembling furniture for delivery to our customers. In addition, you will perform a thorough quality control inspection of each piece that you assemble to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. In addition, you will perform quality control inspections on each piece that you assemble in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

- Unpack, inspect, and assemble furniture products accurately, and efficiently.
- Maintain careful attention to product quality.
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Additional duties may vary as required.
- 2+ years warehouse experience is preferred.
- Great attention to detail
- Prior experience working with tools.
- Ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Track record of longevity with previous employers
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand and walk frequently.
- Ability to carry objects up to 75-100lbs. or more with assistance.
- Ability to push/pull/maneuver products/equipment/ material up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to use hand and power tools along with frequent hand movement, simple grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating.
