Hourly Rate: $40.66 – $61.00 Shift Type: Varied Shift Times: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Variable: 6:30 AM–4:30 PM & 10:30 AM–9:00 PM)

- $10,000 New Hire Sign-On Bonus (Full-Time).
- $10,000 Relocation Bonus if relocating >50 miles (Full-Time).
Join as a Nursing Supervisor in the Operating Room, providing leadership and support to a highly skilled surgical services team. You will manage day-to-day operations in a Level One Trauma environment, supervising staff and ensuring quality, cost-effective perioperative care for patients of all ages.
This role includes oversight of diverse surgical specialties, including cardiac, transplant, orthopedics, plastics, general surgery, pediatrics, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, and vascular surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of patient care while maintaining high-quality, cost-effective services within budgetary guidelines.
- Provide clinical leadership by directing, coordinating, and delegating patient care in an organized, flexible manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Remain competent and available to participate in patient care relevant to the clinical specialty.
- Promote personal and professional growth for self and team members.
- Maintain awareness of applicable laws and regulations affecting patient care; ensure organizational compliance.
- Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines for safe and efficient departmental operations.
- Participate in annual budget development and take appropriate action to maintain financial control.
- Implement evidence-based practice strategies to meet patient care needs and assist in achieving quality improvement objectives.
- Interview, orient, train, schedule, evaluate, discipline, and terminate staff as appropriate, applying personnel policies consistently.
- Instruct and lead staff to maintain high productivity, intervening when necessary to solve problems.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Required.
- Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurse – Required.
- Current Iowa RN License – Required.
- Current BCLS Certification – Required.
- Iowa.
- Compact license allowed.
