Full-Time

Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (LPN or RN) to support our Nursing Services Department. If you’re a compassionate leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department.

  • Participate in interviewing and screening residents for admission.

  • Review nurses’ notes to ensure proper documentation of treatments, medications, and resident conditions.

  • Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care and identify needs.

  • Communicate with physicians and visit selected residents regularly.

  • Assist the MDS/Care Plan Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising MDS assessments, including implementing RAPs and triggers.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
    or Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience as an ADON, DON, or similar role in long-term care.

  • Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.
