Fire Alarm Inspector

The purpose of this position is to provide reliable, high‑quality customer support through on‑site maintenance, inspections and preventative services performed on all fire and security systems.

• Valid license/good driving record.
• Pass background checks and drug tests.
• Ability to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry according to state regulations.
• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Mathematical skills including calculation of interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and basic algebra and geometry.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installation of alarm systems.

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices (alarm panels, sirens, horns, strobes, etc.) function properly and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit daily to the appropriate department.
• Communicate with clients, co‑workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor related to daily business functions.
