Experienced Roofers - Sarasota Office

Responsibilities

• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Interact professionally with other employees.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
• Responsible for the application or repair of roofing materials. Unloads materials, cleans off roof, applies roofing material, and cleans site after job is complete.
• Unload materials from truck and unroll roofing material.
• Ensure there is enough material for entire roof.
• Lift roofing materials onto roof using pulleys or ladder.
• Ensure debris is cleared from roof.
• Scrape or pull off old roofing material.
• Properly equip all roofers with safety equipment, scaffolding, and hoists.
• Safely apply roofing materials with the proper tools, specifically according to customer’s request.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds at least once per 8-hour daily shift.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
