Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Location: Manila

Axos Business Center, Corp About This Job The Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries and maintaining the Company’s general ledger and third-party transactions, assisting in the designing controls for the Company’s SOX program. Responsible for ad-hoc accounting, internal controls, and regulatory/compliance, and technical research and analyzing accruals and performing reconciliations.

Post journal entries

Reconcile GL accounts, inclusive of, clearing any reconciling items

Prepare various month-end schedules to assist with closing the books

Prepare various quarter-end SEC schedules

Prepare various quarter-end Call Report schedules

Review GL accounts and wbs for reasonableness

Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Assist with correcting problems discovered with the posting of loan activity

Support the validation of accurate entry of transactions into the accounting system through daily, monthly, and quarterly account reconciliations and monitoring.

Review and process disbursements for employee travel and expense reports. Support the accounting management team and business units with the budgeting, cost management, reporting, and forecasting initiatives.

Manage all month end accounting for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, unpaid invoice accruals, payroll, cost allocations, and account reconciliations.

Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.

Create and update processes and procedures for journal entries.
