Position: Client Accounting Services (CAS) Senior Associate
Location: Manila

Your appointment as CAS Senior Associate shall be on a full time basis. As CAS Senior Associate you shall perform the following functions:

Record and reconcile client deposit and disbursement transactions, including preparation and review of adjusting journal entries

Reconcile bank and credit card statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Process payroll in ADP and ensure compliance with IRS and Department of Labor regulations

Manage client accounts payable functions using BILL (formerly )Maintain proficiency in Quick Books (Desktop and Online) to accurately record and review transactions

Analyze general ledger accounts to identify errors, variances, and required corrections

Prepare monthly standardized financial statements for review by the project manager

Organize and maintain accounting work papers, client data, and files in a clear and auditable manner

Review CAS work papers prepared by accountants and provide timely, constructive feedback

Oversee quality of deliverables and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and reporting standards

Manage assignments and deadlines for a team of accountants, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables

Monitor project budgets and support utilization planning within the department

Participate in the hiring, evaluation, and bi-yearly performance review process of CAS personnel

Provide ongoing coaching and foster a culture of accountability and professional growth

Serve as primary contact for assigned client accounts, communicating updates, addressing challenges, and identifying opportunities for improvement or additional services

Coordinate with US CAS personnel on project timing, workload capacity, and deliverable expectations to ensure alignment between PH and US teams

Communicate accounting updates, risks, and performance results to internal and external stakeholders

Identify cross-functional issues and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and PH–UScollaboration

Align team deliverables with departmental and firm-wide strategic goals

Demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Exhibit sound judgment and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Manage time effectively, prioritize competing deadlines, and operate independently and within a team environment

Maintain proficiency in Office 365 (particularly Excel and Word) and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and sound decision-making abilities

Proven experience coaching teams and managing performance

Preferred Qualifications CPA or comparable professional certification

Background in public accounting or audit4+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity

Experience with advanced financial systems, ERP platforms, and cloud-based integrations

Hands-on experience with QBO, Xero, Bill, Ramp, and Gusto Why Choose Sorren?
