Financial Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to support high-quality financial reporting within a complex, multinational environment. This role focuses on consolidated reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and technical accounting areas under international financial reporting standards.

You will work closely with finance leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial outputs, while contributing to key reporting cycles and audit processes.

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial results on a periodic basis, ensuring adherence to reporting timelines
• Support consolidation activities across multiple entities, including balance sheet adjustments, foreign exchange reconciliation, and lease accounting treatments
• Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliation reports for consolidated financial statements
• Coordinate with business units to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data
• Provide support during external audit cycles related to consolidated reporting

• Prepare and maintain accounting models and schedules for specific reporting areas (e.g., equity-based compensation and lease accounting)
• Support periodic reporting requirements aligned with international accounting standards
• Contribute to technical accounting projects and analysis as required by the finance team

• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements for subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with applicable reporting standards
• Support audit processes by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of disclosures and supporting schedules

• Provide analytical support for financial reporting and accounting processes
• Assist in reviewing financial data, identifying variances, and ensuring data integrity
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within financial reporting processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong experience in financial accounting, particularly in consolidation and reporting
• Solid understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
• Experience working with complex, multi-entity structures

• Background in external audit or professional services environment
• Experience supporting listed company reporting or similar regulatory environments
• Exposure to technical accounting areas such as lease accounting or equity-based compensation
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
