Ephraim City – Part-Time Court Clerk I/II

Ephraim City is accepting applications for a part-time Court Clerk I/II position in the Justice Court.

This position performs clerical, administrative, and customer service duties that support the daily operations of the court. Duties include maintaining court records, processing payments and legal documents, assisting the public, scheduling hearings, and supporting courtroom proceedings.

• Department: Justice Court
• Status: Part-Time
• Pay Range: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• Hours: 10–20 hours per week, averaging approximately 12 hours weekly
• Work Location: In-office position at Ephraim City offices

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of clerical, court, or related administrative experience preferred

Successful candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information.

Court or legal office experience is helpful but not required.

• Assist the public with court procedures and scheduling
• Receive and process payments, fees, and fines
• Maintain court records and files
• Prepare and process court documents
• Coordinate hearings and court calendars
• Perform data entry and general clerical duties
• Communicate with law enforcement, attorneys, and other agencies
