The Student Engagement Specialist supports student success by coordinating and executing student outreach, appointment logistics, basic support services, and Titan Support Center operations. This position is a central point of contact for students engaging with the support center, both in‑person and remotely. The Specialist maintains data systems, supports student communications, monitors the computer lab, and partners with the Student Success Advisors to improve outreach and follow‑up efforts.

Skills and Abilities
Required
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain accurate records and logs
- Experience with or ability to learn CRM and student tracking systems
- Comfort calling and texting students for reminders and follow‑up
- Ability to respond with empathy and professionalism to a wide range of student concerns
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA regulations
- Basic understanding of computer lab operations and scheduling systems
- Ability to analyze data trends and adjust outreach accordingly
- Provide front‑line support to students accessing the Titan Support Center
- Respond to student and staff inquiries via email, phone, and in person
- Conduct appointment confirmations, rescheduling, and outreach as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and communication efforts in tracking systems
- Support student engagement by promoting events and services via text and email
- Monitor and update usage logs and communication reports for the Titan Support Center
- Assist with maintaining the computer lab, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and appropriate scheduling
- Coordinate and confirm lab reservations and assist with scheduling logistics
- Conduct outreach to students who miss appointments or are referred by staff or faculty
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of student support activities and events
- Prepare and share engagement summaries and reports with supervisor or designated team members
- Participate in regular collaboration with Student Success Advisors to review data and improve outreach strategies
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, including FERPA and confidentiality standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This is a non‑benefited position.
Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Office administrative experience and proficiency in computer applications
- Demonstrated ability to follow various processes and procedures
- Must successfully pass criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
