Certified Alignment Technician
Are you ready to join the winning team? At Point S Moab, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service while creating a workplace where employees feel valued and respected. We are currently looking for a Certified Alignment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing wheel alignments, diagnosing suspension and steering concerns, and handling tire service work in a fast-paced shop environment while maintaining quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform precise wheel alignments on passenger vehicles and light trucks
- Diagnose suspension, steering, and tire wear concerns
- Inspect vehicles for worn or damaged steering and suspension components
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, flat repairs, and replacements
- Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify alignment and drivability concerns
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with Service Advisors and team members
- Maintain alignment equipment and ensure accuracy of measurements
- Follow proper safety procedures and shop policies at all times
- Properly document work performed and recommended repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with additional shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Certified Alignment Technician experience required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
- Strong understanding of suspension, steering, and tire wear diagnostics
- Experience operating alignment racks, tire machines, and balancing equipment
- Ability to diagnose drivability and alignment-related concerns accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and perform physically demanding work
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
