Certified Alignment Technician

Are you ready to join the winning team? At Point S Moab, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service while creating a workplace where employees feel valued and respected. We are currently looking for a Certified Alignment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing wheel alignments, diagnosing suspension and steering concerns, and handling tire service work in a fast-paced shop environment while maintaining quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise wheel alignments on passenger vehicles and light trucks
  • Diagnose suspension, steering, and tire wear concerns
  • Inspect vehicles for worn or damaged steering and suspension components
  • Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, flat repairs, and replacements
  • Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify alignment and drivability concerns
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with Service Advisors and team members
  • Maintain alignment equipment and ensure accuracy of measurements
  • Follow proper safety procedures and shop policies at all times
  • Properly document work performed and recommended repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with additional shop duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Certified Alignment Technician experience required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Strong understanding of suspension, steering, and tire wear diagnostics
  • Experience operating alignment racks, tire machines, and balancing equipment
  • Ability to diagnose drivability and alignment-related concerns accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Ability to lift heavy tires and perform physically demanding work
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
