Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Commercial Director to lead our commercial operations, drive revenue growth, and develop key business strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, business development, and supplier relations within the retail or home furnishings industry. This role requires a results-driven leader with a keen understanding of market trends and a proven track record of driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers, hotels, and service providers to secure competitive rates and exclusive deals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnership channels.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales and account management team.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine commercial approaches.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, inventory management, and margin optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to support growth initiatives.
  • Prepare and present commercial reports to the executive team.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Director, Head of Sales, Business Development Director, or a similar leadership role in retail, furniture, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of commercial strategies, market analysis, and business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multi-functional teams, including sales and marketing.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
