Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Commercial Director to lead our commercial operations, drive revenue growth, and develop key business strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, business development, and supplier relations within the retail or home furnishings industry. This role requires a results-driven leader with a keen understanding of market trends and a proven track record of driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, hotels, and service providers to secure competitive rates and exclusive deals.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnership channels.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales and account management team.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine commercial approaches.
- Oversee pricing strategies, inventory management, and margin optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to support growth initiatives.
- Prepare and present commercial reports to the executive team.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Director, Head of Sales, Business Development Director, or a similar leadership role in retail, furniture, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of commercial strategies, market analysis, and business development.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing multi-functional teams, including sales and marketing.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
