- Responsibilities:
Monitors and logs status and availability of assigned and unassigned police, fire, and medical field units to assure an appropriate response is made;
Updates information for medical, police and fire personnel en-route to call;
Maintains reports and retrieve statistical information using the National Fire Incident Reporting System(s) (NFIRS);
Operates computer based Hazardous Materials databases to provide field units with accurate information during emergencies;
Responsible for the receipt and effective evaluation of 911 emergency calls to include installation fire, police, ambulance service, and Commercial Intrusion Detection System alarms
