Both employees and guests return to the Rustler year after year, a testament to our friendly and supportive working environment. We expect our employees to focus on customer service and knowledge of the job responsibilities while le not working we encourage our employees to take advantage of the world-class skiing outside our door and the great Alta community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Show up on time, in uniform ready to work
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures
• Provide guests with information regarding hotel policies
• Assist guests with requests and problems
  
  Answer the telephone using appropriate phone etiquette
• Provide professional, friendly, positive, upbeat, and hospitable service at all times
• Communicate effectively with guests, management, staff, and co-workers
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in customer service preferred
• Quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations

Work Schedule

• Shifts any day of the week, 5 days a week, morning, afternoon, evening, or split shift
• Some ski time is available most days but not guaranteed
• Weekend and Holiday work required
• No vacation as this is a seasonal position

Accommodations

• Both live out and live-in positions are available
• For live-in positions, onsite housing is available in shared dormitory-style rooms. Bi-weekly room and board charge of $125 includes three meals a day
• Meals provided while on shift for live out employees
• Ski pass included
