Major Responsibilities/Duties

• Assist the head coach in training sessions with tactical and technical input. Designing and planning training sessions around the teams need from week to week.
• Be present on sidelines during games, giving the head coach ideas and tactical strategies to help the team see success.
• Assist with team warmups and pre game preparations in order to get the team ready to play.
• Assist with travel arrangements:
  Hotel bookings, meal choices, travel schedules and itineraries.
• Assist with driving state issued vehicles when needed by head coach and doesn't conflict with other coaches main responsibilities.
• Assist the head coach in creating a fun and competitive environment for the players to grow and develop as both a student and an athlete.
• Assist the head coach in creating pathways for players to transfer on to the four year level once they graduate from Snow College.

Definition.

A part-time adjunct faculty member is employed at less than 75% time annually and teaches at least one credit hour or more.

A part-time staff member is employed at less that 75% time annually. The employment time is three continuous months at an average of 15 hours a week.

Student hourly employees are exempt from the part-time privileges of this policy.

Privileges.

Upon authorization by the hiring department, part-time employees as defined under this policy will be issued a Snow College Part-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card at the time of hire. The card entitles the holder to all of the privileges associated with a Full-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card including, but not necessarily limited to, general admission or discounted prices for athletic and cultural events;
Snow College library card issuance; computer network, Web, and e-mail access; bookstore sponsored discounts; and other discounts associated with the  at either campus. Supervisors have the right to terminate the privileges at any time during the fiscal year.

Non-inherent Privileges.

Privileges of full-time employees such as, but not necessarily limited to, college parties or gatherings, professional development activities, office/computer/telephone access, current expense budgets may be provided to part-time employees only at department discretion.
