Excelsior Academy is looking for candidates that are energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to student success. Candidates must work well in a team environment, including attending and participation in special education training during the work day. Candidates must have a professional or associate's license and can be enrolled in APPEL-SPED.

• Maintain compliance with State & IDEA regulations.
• Work directly with students teaching academics and providing behavioral support.
• Collaborate with parents, administration, regular & special education staff.
• Work with and provide guidance to a team of para educators.
• Attend special education training throughout the year.
• Other related duties as assigned.
