OverviewThe Classroom Facilitator will work at the Utah State University campus in Moab. Hours may vary depending on need and will be scheduled anywhere between 7:30 AM and 10:30 PM Monday through Friday, and Saturday 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and other times as assigned. Hours will be less than 28 hours per week and may change each semester. This position reports to the Director of Students and is an ACA variable position.
Responsibilities- Assist students and instructors by operating classroom equipment essential to delivery of interactive video conference (IVC) classes.
- Communicate effectively face‑to‑face, over telephone, on IVC equipment, via electronic communication tools, and in writing.
- Use a computer to check email and to access USU software systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Distribute and collect classroom materials, proctor exams and quizzes, and maintain a quiet learning environment.
- Maintain accurate class rolls, attendance records, and classroom materials tracking procedure records.
- Act as a liaison between students and University instructors and administrators.
- Greet students and patrons at the front desk and direct them to the appropriate resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not necessarily, from occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
