Elementary PE Teacher

Qualifications

Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Utah Professional Elementary Teaching license with a Physical Education endorsement.

Under the general supervision of the School Principals, develop and instruct students K‑6 in physical skills, fitness, and health, ensuring compliance with the Utah State Core Standards; foster a safe, positive, and engaging environment; manage class behavior, assess student progress; maintain equipment; teach motor skills, sports, games, and lifetime fitness activities.

This position will provide physical education classes to elementary schools across the District.

Placed on Licensed Salary Schedule. Placement is determined by education level and years of experience. Experience credit will be awarded for the first ten (10) years of certified experience in an accredited school.

Full time, 183 days. To begin August 13, 2026.

Must submit a district application, resume, and copy of valid teaching license, 3 letters of reference (2 current), and transcripts.
