Part-Time Math Interventionist

This charter is seeking a caring, dedicated, and student-centered Math Interventionist to join our team. This part-time position provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning by helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational math skills, and achieve academic growth.

• Position: Math Interventionist
• Schedule: Monday--Friday
• Hours: 29 hours per week
• Work Hours: 8:00 a.m.
  
  -- 2:45 p.m.
• Location: Wasatch Peak Academy

• Provide small-group math intervention instruction to elementary students.
• Teach and reinforce foundational math concepts and skills.
• Identify and address learning gaps through targeted intervention.
• Support student growth and mathematical confidence through engaging instruction.
• Collaborate with the Math Specialist and classroom teachers to support student achievement.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of intervention services.
• Utilize school-approved instructional materials and intervention programs.
• Foster positive relationships with students and create a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in training and professional learning opportunities as assigned.

• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
• Knowledge of elementary mathematics concepts and instructional practices.
• Ability to work effectively with small groups of students with varying academic needs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
