Athletic Director Part-Time

POSITION: PART-TIME ATHLETIC DIRECTOR ~ UINTAH MIDDLE SCHOOL

Voucher position, no benefits

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

Under the direction of the school administration, the Athletic Director is to manage the athletic program at Vernal Middle School.

• Set up gyms and/or fields for games.
• Find clock operators.
• Arrange supervisors.
• Help coaches with schedules.
• Arrange and pay officials.
• Communicate with coaches.
• Communicate athlete, coach, and parent concerns with the building administration.
• Check to make sure the facilities are safe.
• Be part of hiring committees for Middle School coaches.
• Communicate and coordinate with school administration regarding athletics.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful coaching experience.
• An applicant with a teaching certificate may receive preference.
• Willing to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
