Job DescriptionSnow College is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Student Success. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions Recruitment in Ephraim, Utah.
QualificationsRequired:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience. Ability to present to and engage with large groups - presentation skills are essential. Working knowledge of college admissions as well as scholarship and financial aid processes. Work independently AND collaborate with faculty and staff on Ephraim and Richfield campuses. Excellent organizational, writing, planning, instructional, leadership, marketing, and communications skills. Proficient with computers, social media, and basic software applications.
Able to properly use presentation hardware including a computer and projector. Experience working with Customer Relations or Student Information software. Experience with mentoring high school and college-age students. Experience in creating and managing engaging activities for groups of college and high school aged students.
Developing, implementing, reporting, and assessing a recruitment plan for domestic first-year and transfer students to help Snow College achieve its enrollment objectives. Represent Snow College in your assigned territory of Utah high schools. Counties include Box Elder, Cache, Rich, Weber, Morgan, and Davis. Develop a relationship with high school officials, technical education schools, prospective students, and their parents/guardians. Actively convey Snow's aspiration to welcome all students and assist them in completing their educational pursuits.
Recruitment efforts can include but will not be limited to holding scholarship application workshops, parent information sessions, admission application assistance, Snow Blasts and Day Blasts, next step visits, Utah Higher Education Day, and Utah College Application Week. Schedule and attend follow-up visits with targeted high schools' counselors and students. Assist with off-campus Open Houses in Spring and Fall. Use the college's Customer Relationships Management (CRM) software effectively to communicate with prospective students and create individual relationships with them to encourage their progress toward becoming enrolled college students.
Attend early morning, late night, and weekend admissions and recruiting activities. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
