Rocky Vista University (RVU or University) seeks a transformational and entrepreneurialacademic leader with strong business acumento serve as its next Provostto unite the institution around a bold, growth-focused vision.

The incoming leader will work with the newly appointed Presidentat a significant time of forward momentum, including the opening of Montana's first veterinary college. The Provostwill have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly innovative and committed university community while leveraging the many assets of amulti-campus health sciences university with campusesthat span Colorado, Utah, and Montana. Established in 2006, RVU isthe nation's first private, for-profit health sciences university to offer a professional medical degree since 1910.RVU

is independent and privately funded with a Board of Trustees that overseesitsoperations, administration, education, and policy.

RVU is part of Medforth Global Healthcare Education, an organization dedicated to addressing the growing global need for high-quality medical and healthcare professional training, particularly in medically underserved communities. It is supported by Carlyle, a private equity organization. RVUenrollsnearly2,450students and offersfive-degreeprogramsin Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice, Master of Physician Assistant Studies, Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and Master of Medical Sciences.

A sixth program, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, is under development,further broadeningthe University'srole in addressing regional workforce needs across both human and animal health. The next Provost willprovideacademic enterpriseleadershipin the building and strengthening of programs, managing of accreditation, the improvement of academic and student outcomes, developing strong leaders, anddevelopingand implementing the University's strategic plan. The Provostwill drivestrategy execution and accomplishment designed to sustain and drive academic prominence.

The Provostwill help define the University's next era of academic distinctiontoensureRVUcontinues to prepare healthcare professionals whose knowledge, compassion, and leadership improve the lives of patients and communities across the nation. The Provostmust hold adoctoral degree from an accredited institution and demonstrate scholarly distinction consistent with appointment as a full professor  ideal candidate will possesssubstantial leadership experience in medical, health sciences, or related scientific education, with a proven ability to lead complex academic organizations through growth and innovation.

The anticipated hiring salaryis $400,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package. The salary of the hire selected will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.
