We are seeking a skilled Second Engineer to join our team in the Shipping - General Cargo fleet. As a Second Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vessels.
Responsibilities- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the technical operations of the vessel.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Supervise and train engine room personnel.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and performance of the vessel.
- Valid applicable Certificate of Competence (STCW III/2 or III/3; Second Engineer)
- Valid STCW Training Certificates
- Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in maintaining and repairing ship engines and equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent English communication skills
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities
