STi is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic II personnel to support the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) and Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) under the Depot On-Site Contract Augmentee Teams 5 (DOCAT5) Task Order at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This effort supports depot-level repair, overhaul, modification, and maintenance activities for the 531st and 532nd Commodities Maintenance Squadrons (CMMXS) within the 309th Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG).
Personnel will support critical aircraft component and systems sustainment work involving landing gear, fuel tanks, pylons, screw jacks, hydraulics, pneudraulics, flight controls, structural components, and other aircraft mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate has hands‑on aircraft maintenance experience, strong technical order discipline, and a background in aircraft structures, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, sheet metal repair, component replacement, or depot‑level aircraft maintenance.
This role is well‑suited for prior Air Force maintainers, aircraft structural mechanics, hydraulic systems specialists, depot/MRO mechanics, crew chiefs with strong repair experience, and cleared aviation maintenance professionals.
- Perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft structures and mechanical systems of moderate to high complexity.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace aircraft mechanical systems including flight controls, engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fuel systems, batteries, hydro stats, and related mechanical components.
- Support depot-level repair and overhaul operations involving landing gear, fuel tanks, pylons, screw jacks, hydraulic systems, pneudraulic systems, wheels, brakes, and related aircraft commodities.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, determine corrective actions, and restore components or systems to proper operating condition.
- Interpret and apply technical orders, engineering drawings, blueprints, manufacturer manuals, maintenance manuals, and technical publications.
- Perform aircraft sheet metal repairs, structural modifications, component replacements, and related airframe repair activities.
- Use aircraft-specific tools and test equipment including torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, shears, and other precision tools.
- Make accurate maintenance documentation entries in aircraft logs, records, and required maintenance systems.
- Maintain compliance with applicable technical publications, safety standards, tool control requirements, quality requirements, and local operating procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with Government supervisors, engineers, quality inspectors, work leads, and maintenance personnel.
- Prioritize assigned workload to meet production schedules, project deadlines, and mission readiness requirements.

- Experience performing aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, or component-level maintenance.
- Working knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, troubleshooting practices, and repair procedures.
- Experience reading and applying technical orders, maintenance manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, or manufacturer documentation.
- Familiarity with aircraft sheet metal, structural repair, airframe repair, or structural modification work.
- Experience with aircraft hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, flight control, landing gear, wheel/brake, or related mechanical systems.
- Ability to use aircraft maintenance tools, precision measuring equipment, test equipment, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
