Our client, a global leader in advanced autonomous and robotic solutions across multiple industries, is seeking a Reliability Engineer IV to lead reliability engineering activities for complex electromechanical systems, ensuring products meet reliability, availability, maintainability, and durability objectives. This role develops reliability requirements, defines validation strategies, analyzes failures, identifies technical risks, and drives corrective actions through collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
The engineer also provides technical guidance and supports system design, verification, validation, and product release activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead reliability planning, analysis, verification, and validation for complex systems and subsystems.
- Develop measurable reliability, availability, maintainability, and durability requirements.
- Define validation plans, test procedures, acceptance criteria, and objective evidence.
- Lead reliability analyses including FMEA, FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), reliability block diagrams, and risk assessments.
- Develop environmental, durability, accelerated-life, and qualification test strategies.
- Analyze laboratory, field, maintenance, and operational data to identify failure trends and reliability risks.
- Lead root cause investigations and coordinate corrective and preventive actions across engineering disciplines.
- Verify corrective actions through regression testing and reliability growth activities.
- Perform statistical reliability analyses including Weibull analysis, life-data analysis, and failure-rate estimation.
- Participate in design reviews, test readiness reviews, release assessments, supplier reliability evaluations, and component qualification activities.
- Develop reliability metrics, dashboards, technical reports, and engineering documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on reliability best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
