Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Defining, implementing and/or maintaining general Industrial Engineering policies, methods, and standards, as well as principle process blueprints for supply chain operations.
• Developing, aligning and ensuring implementation of budgets, assigning and monitoring projects and allocating resources.
• Ensuring or collaborating in the design of cost‑effective manufacturing layouts and building ergonomics.
• Investigating best practices and trends in manufacturing methods, technology developments, and equipment.
• Ensuring efficient operations across all stages of the supply chain, identifying deficiencies and proposing remedial measures or projects such as efficiency or cost reduction programs.
• Developing and maintaining operations information, planning, and control systems.
• Executing non-routine and case-specific technical analytics to support creation of function-specific concepts.
• Supporting engineers in design, realization, and implementation of assigned processes or technical infrastructure.
• Executing documentation and planning of training for affected parts of the organization.
• Providing local support on dedicated subject matter or processes (e.g., as 'Key User').
• May provide sophisticated assembly and installation of assigned modules/parts of technical infrastructure (e.g., in IT or facilities).
• May perform the set‑up, structured programming and testing, and document results accordingly.
