Job Description & How to Apply Below
About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented compliance professional to join our Regulatory team. Working directly with our Regulatory Manager, you’ll play a central role in ensuring our clients meet the legal requirements to access background check results under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This includes verifying new client accounts, supporting applicant dispute processing, and maintaining accurate records in line with federal compliance standards.
This role suits someone who is analytical, thorough, and comfortable navigating both client-facing conversations and back-office compliance work. You’ll need to bring patience and empathy to interactions with clients and applicants, and a sharp eye for detail to everything else.
What You’ll Do Research and verify the legitimacy of new client accounts in line with credit bureau compliance procedures
Review background check components for accuracy and flag discrepancies for further review
Correspond with clients and applicants regarding account status, compliance requirements, and dispute outcomes
Process applicant dispute inquiries with accuracy, empathy, and adherence to FCRA documentation standards
Notify the Regulatory Manager of suspected fraud or non-compliant account activity
Activate and deactivate client accounts based on compliance status determinations
Maintain applicant data in internal databases to ensure ongoing federal law compliance
Assist with record retention and regulatory documentation as directed
Provide outstanding service to clients and applicants navigating the compliance process
What We’re Looking For Excellent written and spoken English — this role involves direct communication with US-based clients and applicants daily
Strong internet research skills with the ability to verify information across multiple sources efficiently
Exceptional attention to detail — compliance work leaves no room for error
Solid reading comprehension; you’ll regularly work through regulatory documentation, client records, and dispute correspondence
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Patient, empathetic communicator — especially when supporting applicants through the dispute process
Comfortable working independently within defined compliance frameworks and escalating appropriately when needed
Background in BPO compliance, legal support, financial services, background screening, or a regulatory/governance-adjacent role is a strong advantage
Familiarity with FCRA or US credit bureau processes is a plus, though not required — training will be provided
Benefits
Career growth opportunities in a diverse and supportive work environment.
Competitive Salary Package Prime office location in Ortigas (Easy access to MRT stations, restaurants, and banks)
Hybrid Working Arrangement (2 days WFH)
HMO coverage with free dependent upon hire.
Free 24/7 access to our office gyms (Ortigas and Makati)
Total of 20 annual leaves to be used on your own discretion (including 5 credits convertible to cash)
Plus, additional benefits
