As a key member of the Accounts Department, you will be responsible for managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial operations. This role supports end‑to‑end transaction processing, maintains strong financial controls, and contributes to the integrity of financial reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP) Management- Process and review supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all invoices are properly coded, approved, and compliant with internal controls.
- Prepare and execute supplier payments in line with agreed terms.
- Monitor payment schedules and support month‑end AP closing activities.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
- Follow up on overdue payments and elevate where necessary.
- Perform customer statement reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of receivables and support cash application activities.
- Support month‑end closing activities for both AP and AR.
- Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Finance, and Sales) to ensure correct financial data flow.
- Assist in maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with company policies.
- Respond to supplier and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing, payment, and reconciliation issues.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, audit requirements, and documentation.
- Support ad‑hoc finance tasks, analysis, and process improvement initiatives as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s or a College Degree in Accounting;
Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent. - At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and tools is an advantage.
- Must work well independently in a team‑oriented environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Strong prioritization skills to meet established deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in efficient time management and adept task prioritization.
- Ability to conduct internet research with demonstrated computer skills.
- Highly detail oriented with an ability to concentrate for an extended period of time.
