Financial Account Manager

Overview

The Financial Account Manager is critical to the financial health and success of our team and our clients. This role requires expertise and enjoyment in working with clients at all levels, from property managers and accounting team members to corporate-level contacts, to ensure our clients’ holistic financial health. Financial Account Manager also works closely with internal teams to develop strategies based on client’s needs to ensure our client’s long‑term success.

• Serve as the primary liaison for small to mid‑sized accounts (400 to 600 sites) comprised of AP Extract and Bill Pay clients, responding to client issues related to Real Page Utility Management.
• Act as client advocate to internal teams, ensuring appropriate responsiveness to client questions and concerns by clearly articulating financial needs, gaps, and action items, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Use quarterly/monthly client scorecards to monitor client Utility Expense Management health and proactively identify and recommend improvement opportunities to ensure long‑term success of invoice processing performance.
• Conduct client and property analysis and track completion to reduce validation and disconnection incidents.
• Complete new client transition process to reduce time required to successfully redirect accounts and minimize ongoing redirections.
• Perform primary job responsibilities with minimal management assistance, escalating as needed.

• Two to three years of experience in general accounting, including AP/AR, accruals, check processing, account reconciliation, budgeting/forecasting, credit card and ACH management and reconciliation, funding management, and financial transaction analysis.
• Client interaction experience required.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Property management or multifamily housing industry experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience.
